James R. Newcomb, DC, FACO

Newcomb Chiropractic ClinicDr. Jim completed his pre-med at KCJC and KCU (now UMKC) and his DC from Cleveland Chiropractic College , K.C., MO in 1950. He moved his family and practice to Broken Arrow in 1957. He completed his specialty training in orthopedics from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1965 and was certified in 1973 and re-certified in 1999. Dr. Jim practiced diversified techniques and therapies which include manipulation, casting, and bracing of the spine and extremities. In January 2006, Dr. Jim retired from active practice. He remained active in a consultant role until his passing in 2016.

Newcomb Chiropractic ClinicDr. Brent comes from a family of Chiropractors including his father who established the clinic in its current location in 1957. He followed in his father, grandfather and grandmother's footsteps and continued the family legacy in Chiropractic. There are currently 17 family members who have earned DC degrees. Dr. Brent works closely with the medical community to correct or improve his patient's pain as well as joint and muscle dysfunctions by using safe and effective treatment. He enjoys helping people who have challenging cases. He treats every patient as an individual and helps them learn how to better manage their condition and overall health. He has a highly respected reputation among his peers and the people of Broken Arrow where he was raised. Dr. Brent is honored to have been voted “BEST CHIROPRACTOR IN BROKEN ARROW" multiple years in a row.

As a fourth-generation chiropractor, Dr. Doug grew up seeing and experiencing the benefits of chiropractic first hand and knew it would become his career since his teenage years. After high school, he attended the University of Oklahoma and then Texas Chiropractic College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, an acupuncture certification, and Doctor of Chiropractic. He returned to Broken Arrow and joined the family practice in 2004. Dr. Doug is an avid sports fan and in addition to “normal chiropractic cases,” he enjoys treating sports related injuries on athletes of all levels. He has served as the team doctor of Summit Christian Academy since 2005 and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.
